This Privacy Policy describes what information is collected when you use this website, how it is used, and your choices.

Information Collected

  • Server Infrastructure (Vercel): Standard deployment logs capturing non-identifiable technical properties (like generalized IP addresses and request timestamps) are processed at the hosting layer to ensure site security and mitigation against network attacks.

  • Analytics: Google Analytics tracks visitor behavior (pages visited, browser type, approximate location). Google may place cookies and collect anonymized usage data. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

  • reCAPTCHA: The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. reCAPTCHA works by analyzing your interaction with the page (such as mouse movements and clicks) to determine if you are human. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

  • Site Analytics & Metrics: Page views and visitor interactions are recorded anonymously and stored securely in a dedicated MongoDB database. This records minimal, non-identifiable technical properties (like timestamps or specific routed posts visited) purely to increment view metrics.

  • Preferences: Your customized preferences (such as light/dark mode theme configurations or sound toggles) are retained locally inside your browser's local storage environment. This configuration schema resides solely on your client device.

  • Form Drafts: To improve your experience, unsubmitted contact form data (such as your name, email, or message in progress) may be saved in your browser’s local storage. This data is stored only on your device, is not transmitted to me, and is cleared when you manually remove it or complete the submission.

  • Contact Form Submissions: When you actively submit a message via the website contact form, the provided data payload (name, email address, message string, and submission timestamp) is safely transferred and persisted securely into my self-hosted MongoDB deployment. This database structure is utilized exclusively to respond to incoming questions. No collected contact logs are ever sold or shared with third-party networks.

  • Embedded Code Playgrounds: Interactive technical exercises run directly inside your client browser using Sandpack frames. Running or parsing code logic triggers processing dependencies pulled from sandpack.codesandbox.io. CodeSandbox handles execution mechanics under CodeSandbox’s Privacy Policy.

How Information Is Used

  • To operate, secure, and improve the site.

  • To process and reply to valid inbound communication inquiries.

  • To analyze basic site traffic patterns and specific post popularity.

  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

Security & Retention

Reasonable measures are taken to protect your information, though no method is 100% secure.

  • Google Analytics data is retained by Google under their policies.

  • Local configurations, preferences, and form drafts remain contextually stored within your client browser until explicitly wiped.

  • Message history logs and traffic counts securely structured inside the MongoDB layer remain saved until they are no longer required to fulfill their administrative purpose.

Third-Party Services

  • Vercel: Provides the hosting infrastructure and global Edge Network CDN that serves this website. Vercel automatically collects standard server access logs, which include basic, non-identifiable technical metrics (such as IP addresses, browser types, and request timestamps) strictly to ensure network security, performance optimization, and DDoS mitigation. This processing is subject to Vercel’s Privacy Policy.

  • Google Analytics: Used to measure traffic. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

  • Google reCAPTCHA v3: Used to protect the contact form against spam and abuse. Its use is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

  • Sandpack Engine: Compiles interactive live sandboxes inside content structures using client engines running from CodeSandbox assets.

I do not sell or trade personal information to outside marketing entities.

Your Choices

You may disable cookies or JavaScript in your browser configurations, though some interactive elements or validation parameters may break. You may also opt out of Google Analytics tracing configurations using the tool highlighted above.
